Stichting Leitmotiv ('Leitmotiv') was founded in the Netherlands as a foundation (stichting) in late 2025. We are recognised as an Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling – ANBI (Public Benefit Organisation) by the Dutch tax authority. Below you will find our up-to-date policy plan and remuneration policy, as approved by Leitmotiv's Board.
Leitmotiv has been found to be equivalent to a U.S. public charity ("equivalency determination") by Latitude Global. Leitmotiv also received CORE Assurance by Latitude Global, indicating that our operational and risk profile was reviewed and found to meets a core standard for receiving cross-border funding. Leitmotiv has received generous pro bono support with its establishment as a foundation with ANBI status and related tax and regulatory matters from Norton Rose Fulbright.
