Dr. Corinne Cath is a cultural anthropologist of internet governance and digital rights advocate with over a decade of experience at the intersection of emerging technologies, including AI, internet networking and cloud computing, and human rights. She began her career at human rights NGO Article 19 (2014-2018), conducting research on AI's impact on freedom of expression and lobbying for civil society engagement in early EU tech regulation. Corinne earned her PhD from Oxford's Internet Institute (2016-2021), producing award-winning research on AI governance. She served as Vice President of Research at the Open Technology Fund (2022-2023), and following postdoctoral research at TU Delft (2023-2024), returned to Article 19 in 2025 as Head of Global Team Digital.
